Overview
Machu Picchu is one of the most awe-inspiring places in Peru and one of the world’s great archaeological wonders. This ancient Inca citadel is surrounded by mountains and lush vegetation that together create a truly unique landscape.
On this Full Day tour, we’ll travel from Cusco to Machu Picchu Town, and from there continue by bus up to the citadel. Accompanied by a professional guide, you’ll explore the main archaeological sectors and discover the history and legacy of the Inca civilization.

Itinerary

Hotel Pickup in Cusco and Transfer to the Station
We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco to begin our journey to the train station.

Train Departure to Machu Picchu Town
We’ll board the train bound for Machu Picchu Town. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of the Sacred Valley and the Vilcanota River.

08:00 – 09:00
Arrival in Machu Picchu Town and Bus to the Citadel
Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting to escort you to the bus boarding area. We’ll board the bus for a ride of approximately 30 minutes up to the entrance of the Machu Picchu Citadel.

Guided Tour of the Machu Picchu Citadel
We’ll begin our tour accompanied by a professional guide. We’ll visit the main sectors of the citadel and learn about the history, architecture and significance of this remarkable Inca archaeological site. During the visit, you’ll admire a variety of structures and ceremonial spaces, as well as breathtaking views of the mountains surrounding Machu Picchu.

Return to Machu Picchu Town and Free Time
After the visit, we’ll ride the bus back down to Machu Picchu Town, where you’ll have free time for lunch and a short stroll around town.

16:00 – 18:00
Return by Train and Transfer to Cusco
We’ll head back to the station to board our return train. When we arrive at the designated station, our transportation will be waiting to take us back to the city of Cusco.

20:00 – 22:00
Arrival in the City of Cusco
We’ll conclude the service by dropping you off at your hotel in Cusco.
